You have decided to leave Gmail or to open a secondary email
address and would like to transfer to it all the contacts in your Google
address book? It is not difficult as you think. Just take advantage of the
special transfer function of the contacts and you're done.
To find out how to export contacts from Gmail, read the
directions in the guide I am going to propose and put into practice. By doing
so, you will be able to transfer your entire address book from Gmail to any
other service or e-mail client with minimal effort. Let's get started!
If you want to learn how to export contacts from Gmail, the
first step you need to do is log in to your mailbox license plate Google, click
on the item Gmail ↓ placed in the left sidebar and select Contacts from the
menu that appears.
On the page that opens, click the More button located at the
top and select the Export item from the menu that appears. At this point, put a
check mark next to All contacts, select the format in which to export the names
of the three options available (Google CSV format, CSV format Outlook or vCard
format) and click on the blue button to download Export the file with a list of
all your contacts on your PC.
You can also export contacts from Gmail that are part of a
particular group. Just follow the procedure that we have just seen for the
export of all contacts, put a check mark next to the group instead of All
contacts and select the contact group to be exported from the menu drop down.
If you want to export contacts individual, choosing them
manually from the Gmail address book, you have to go into Gmail> Contacts,
put the check mark next to the names you want to export, click the More button
and select Export from the menu that appears. In the box that opens, make sure
there is a check mark next to the item selected Contacts and click the Export
button to save the file with the selected contacts on your computer. Easy,
right?
