History Of Intel

intel

Intel was founded by Gordon Moore in Mountain View (California) in 1968 (chemical and physical, famous for its "Moore's Law") and Robert Noyce .

when they left Fairchild Semiconductor . Intel's third employee was Andy Grove, 8, a chemical engineer, who ran the company during most of the 1980s and the period of high growth in 1990.

Moore and Noyce initially wanted to name the company "Moore Noyce" 9 but it sounded bad (as in English sounds like More Noise, literally. More noise, a misnomer for an electronics company, since noise Electronic usually very undesirable and normally associated with bad interference). They used the name NM Electronics for almost a year, before deciding to call their company Integrated Electronics (in Spanish Integrated Electronics), abbreviated "Intel" .10 But "Intel" was recorded by a hotel chain, so they had to buy rights to utilizarlo.11

58% of Intel's sales come from outside the United States.
